Brendan M. Maloy, CFP®

Brendan M. Maloy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner at Insight Financial Horizons committed to helping individuals and families achieve their goals by providing the maximum level of service through all phases of the wealth planning cycle: accumulation, preservation, and distribution.  His main areas of focus are retirement strategies, asset management, investment services, college funding, and estate planning.

 

Brendan earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston College in 2000 and a certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University.  Brendan is a registered representative and investment adviser representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, Member FINRA/SIPC, and holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.  He also currently sits on the Board of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts (FPA® MA) as the Director of Public Relations.

To maintain his expertise in an ever-changing landscape, Brendan regularly attends conferences and workshops covering the economy and markets, investment ideas, Social Security, financial products, estate planning, technology, and ethics.

 

Prior to joining Insight Financial Horizons, Brendan spent over a decade in the marketing/media industry working with brands including Bank of America, OnStar, Stride Rite, the Kimpton Hotels, the Delaware North Corporation, & NIKE.

 

With a diverse background and entrepreneurial spirit, Brendan is poised to continue the legacy of helping clients with financial decision-making started by his grandfather, Frederick W. Doyle, over 60 years ago and carried on by his mother and current Principal/Owner of Insight Financial Horizons, Deborah Maloy.

 

Brendan lives in Danvers, Massachusetts, with his wife and two daughters.  He enjoys traveling, running, golf, basketball, and all of the Boston sports teams.
